Join us for a screening of Bidder 70, sponsored by the Sierra Club and 350 Madison Climate Action Team. Bidder 70 is a 75-minute film featuring the act of civil disobedience that student Tim DeChristopher took when he bid 1.8 million dollars to save 22,000 acres of pristine wilderness in an auction in 2008. His courage is an inspiration to us all. The movie will be followed by a Climate Voices workshop, where we’ll learn how to effectively communicate our concern for the climate. Free and open to the public.  For more information, contact Jennifer Feyerherm, jennifer.feyerherm@sierraclub.org, 608-257-4994.
