Line 61 Map
Directions For Citizen Use
This map shows the Enbridge Tar Sands Pipeline (Line 61) as it runs through Wisconsin from north to south.
Wisconsin citizens and others can locate the Enbridge Pipeline on this map as it crosses through townships and neighborhoods.
The stars do not represent towns, but rather locations where the pipeline runs under selected roadways. This makes it easier to identify the pipeline routing in each community. Orange and white pipeline post markers are readily visible on the roadsides (see below picture for example).
The pipeline, of course, runs across and through hundreds of other roads, streams, rivers, neighborhoods, fields, and forests along its route. You can track this path as well.
To find a specific location along the line, zoom in all the way on a particular star. Pan and zoom in or out to find the section of a county that interests you.
The scroll bar on the left lists pipeline points by county for each of Enbridge’s lines. Scroll to the bottom of the bar and a Base Map format will appear. Background maps include a roadmap style, water feature highlights and satellite images.
